Extended Stay
Motels
Extended stay motels vastly differ from hotels and other
extended stay chains. Motels are commonly seen along major
routes and interstate highways when traveling. There are
large motel chains in or near the cities, but for the
suburban and country lifestyles, motels are "hotels in the
countryside." They are located anywhere that there are
serviced roads. Some motels are located along scenic routes
and off the beaten path.
Motels are conveniently located where it is not common to
find other lodgings. In the case of extended stay motels,
these motels offer long term stay without the price or
hassle of rental agreements and landlords, with the added
benefit of a stay as if it was a small apartment. You are
able to leave when necessary to do so without any fees
incurred for ending your stay.
Like hotels, motels offer all of the amenities of a hotel as
well, with the added bonus of being secluded and private.
These motels generally do not have a full kitchen available
in the rooms or suites, but they do often include internet
and cable and WiFi for areas out of limits for the internet
through cell phone reception towers. They also provide full
room service, beautifully decorated interior décor, your own
room or suite with bathroom and bedrooms, and the laundry is
done for you rather than having access to a private laundry
facility like those offered by extended stay hotels. A full
linen service is provided as well as hygiene packages
containing soap, shampoo, conditioners and hygienic paper
products. They also offer private dining options as well as
banquet rooms for a business party or board meetings.
There is often the added convenience of a pool, and some
have a small gym and complimentary breakfasts. In choosing
an extended stay motel, you are able to have the quiet
countryside rather than the hustle and bustle of major city
living. This type of motel can offer hiking and horseback
riding for the nature buffs. Like other extended stays,
choosing to stay at a motel with extended stay options
allows you either to vacation, relocate a family, or deal
with the business aspects of your trip. In many cases, the
longer you stay the more money you will save. Many motels
also offer business services as well to accommodate your
business stay.
Motels typically spring up in rural communities, on lakes,
and in areas that are beautiful and private. Finding the
right motel takes time and patience but is well worth the
effort. Our sites offers a wide diverse array of motels that
offer long term stays and show what amenities are available
for each motel listed. They are located worldwide. Some
actually look more like state historical homes or
castle-like environments with lawns and gardening that are
beautiful rather than the typical square building. All
motels and regular motels offer the added security of a
parking lot right out front your door. For many people this
is an added incentive, as it makes it easier to lug those
suitcases and personal belongings.
